Before These scars came about,
Was my skin smooth and gentle,
Easy on thee eye,
That's when I met you, a true compliment
I thought I knew, yet it was all a dream
Nothing new.
First it was you yelling, me running,
Then you grabbing, me staring helplessly,
Trying to pull away then came stabbing.
At first came excuses, then I created my illusions,
I had to confuse the demons who seemed to be cruising around in my head, so I played dead.
Before these scars came about,
Was a humble human that really cared a lot,
Love to carry the whole world no doubt.
But the first scar left a dent in his heart,
The second scar he can not remember
How it came about, just how his life almost ended.
Before these scars he was a star,
She came into his life heartbroken
He was the victim of loving a partially woman
With a quarter of a heart left with no love.
