spring rears its head,
self-consciously smiles.
clouds dissipate ahead,
vision extends by miles.
unquantifiable whispers
graze the ears of the observer,
not quite ever reaching her,
still landing towards the center.
eruptions of emotion
teeter beneath the surface,
both grounded and in motion,
uncovering a new purpose.
the sun, directly proportional
to the heights of mood,
transmutes its secrets, trapped within the orbital
before they’re understood.
who will you be by summer?
if not more than you are now.
a little brighter, a little dumber,
all that you can be before you come down.
