Does the average person know love at all?
Maybe it's asking to much to receive certain people's love.
I'm just trying to keep life in perspective .
So why is everybody around me so damn deceptive?
Things have been this way since before you could crawl.
Who are you to think you can change it all?
I've seen many men rise and fall.
Things have been this way since before you could crawl.
We all seem to think that we are owed something.
We all feel like we are victims.
When will we wake up and see we are promised nothing.
In the big picture of things we are just mere ants navigating the busy city streets.
Trying to stay out from under the millions of feet.
It's no wonder that we all struggle to compete.
