So someone please tell me why
Why my child hood had to die
Why I had to turn into an adult
This I was not ready for
But it was my duty now for sure
I had to do it ready or not
For my childhood I had to make it stop
Although I know all of this was not my fault
To me this is just so unfair
Its hurting me so much inside I swear
I am so sorry daddy had left us
With no goodbye he went on the bus
From since that day he went out the door
Mummy heart has been so sore
After that she just was not the same
But like I said for it I am not to blame
She just started to act like we was invisible
For all her duties now I was responsible
All the washing, cooking and cleaning
It was like I was a super human being
And I still had to do all my chores and school work
And about that she didn't make any joke
My grades always had to be high
Like a bird flying in the sky
For me there was no fun time
At times she would send me out to make a dime
For that was my only weekend duty
Tell me why all of this is happening to me
And at the side what was she really doing
Only drinking having fun and partying
About it I could not even frown
Otherwise so quickly my face would hit the ground
I just had to stay silent
And wonder where did my real mummy went
Some days she would just keep on arguing
At times for no reason being
For her everything had to be neat and on time
Otherwise it was like I committed a crime
She would beat me so badly
And then send me to bed without dinner or tea
Living in this house was a nightmare
About us she just didn't care
In pain my heart and mind was just burning
To be free was all I was craving
But how would anyone hear my cry
For the house we never leave it was like we had die
Just stay and keep baring this pain
To hold on strong so my brother and sister won't have any strain
I guess we could keep on praying
And soon by the lord above we would be saving
