The moment I feel unwanted,
Life feels crooked, dreams unshaken.
Yet from the start, it seemed so bright,
A world of shadows and of light.
Life taught me how to stand alone,
Friends showed me ways to wear a tone.
Some were lessons, some just part,
Some left a mark upon my heart.
Being me gives strength, a key,
To live, to grow, to simply be.
I am me, nothing more,
A truth I cannot ignore or deny
.Sometimes I long to join the crowd,
Sometimes I fade, silent, unbowed.
Yet moments come ,I can’t escape,
Where being here reshapes it all.
How can I hold the mixed feeling?
The good, the bad, the shifting tide?
And still, amidst the push
I find my home simply me
