With doubt tears flowing,
i questioned my faith,
I pondered and pondered,
Is it to late.
I would sit in the dark,
My eyes wide open,
Just gazing into space,
Why me, why me,
Can't you hear me,
My heart it's screaming out in pain.
If god was really there,
why behave as if he doesn't care,
My journey like a dead end,
Bridges impassable,
Is this my very end.
God then smiled,
He said have no fear,
Lay your troubles at my door steps,
i will always be there,
i may be slow but my work is sure,
Wipe you tears away you will survive.
I sent you on a journey,
Realize what is life,
Life ain't all sugar, spice and everything nice,
Life is a road filled with pot holes not paved at all,
Sometimes you meet quicksand.
My footprints are always beside you,
Don't shed a tear because i have never left you,
I always here teaching you life,
making you strong,
So straighten up the frown,
Your life has just began,
The most important thing to remember,
Life will always go on.
