I thought I was wrong,
But now I know I am right.
I yearn to be loved,
That is how it is.
I am unique and resilient,
In my heart and in my soul.
I am ambitious,
And eagerly ready,
To build a magnificent future,
For the love I have for me.
Others' opinions,
Are a waste of time to ponder.
I need to focus,
But my mind is filled with countless thoughts.
How can I overcome them?
They weigh heavily on my spirit.
I feel so low,
Consumed by my thoughts.
I am alive,
Though happiness is but a dream.
They say love is everything,
Yet I am blinded by its illusion.
I cannot see it,
All I see are broken hearts,
Betrayals and unfaithfulness,
Suffering and pain that cannot be healed.
Sleeping without hope,
Waking up to face the day,
To discover what the new day holds.
Life is filled with many vices,
But I yearn to fight for my dreams,
Even if they seem futile.
Dark thoughts may be against me,
But I refuse to succumb.
Who am I?
Am I merely existing,
Drowning in the sea of depression,
With a plastic smile on my face?
No, that is not who you are, Muhammed,
My inner thoughts whisper to me.
You are great and have a brilliant future ahead.
You have battles to face,
But believe in yourself,
And you will conquer them all.
"How can I?" I reply,
And it simply says, "Just believe, you will."
And someday, I will shine brightly.
