(Mr. Perry knocks on the door)
Principal: Hello, Mr. Perry?
Mr. Perry: Hi Mrs. Evanrock…
Mrs. Evanrock: What can I help you with?
Mr. Perry: Well I have some questions I would like to ask you about this school.
Mrs. Evanrock: Questions about this school?
Mr. Perry: Yeah, do you know the history of this school?
Mrs. Evanrock: History? What do you mean?
Mr. Perry: Well, a history of people getting killed here?
Mrs. Evanrock: Getting killed? Now, where did you hear a terrible thing like that from?
Mr. Perry: I heard it from some people.
Mrs. Evanrock: Some people like who?
Mr. Perry: I am not going to say any names, I just heard rumors about something bad happening here, do you know if this school has always been a school?
Mrs. Evanrock: I don't know where you heard such a terrible rumor like that from, but this school has no bad history, before the blacks came here, in the 1930s this was an all white school, and it always been a good school.
Mr. Perry: okay, thank you, that is all I wanted to know.
Mrs. Evanrock: have a good day Mr. Perry.
Mr. Perry: Thank you, you too.
(Mr. Perry talks to himself walking in the empty hallway)
