At times we fail,
Not because we are weak,
Not because we can't,
But because we let people define us,
We allow humans decide for us,
They make us less strong, more weak,
Their words build impossibilities,
As less these beings appreciate,
More they always criticize,
Less they make us believe we can.
The power to change this we have,
If only we will do things our way,
Allow ourselves sole decision makers be,
To matters pertaining our own lives,
Strictly adhering to what should be done,
Without being altered by what is said,
Opinions don't refuse to take,
But allow not anyone to decide your life,
You are a powerful person as they are,
Believe in the power in yourself,
Always believe in you.
