Our bonds defined love, we swam in a sea of it
Hours flew like rock doves do, we barely noticed the dynamics of time moving
We shared two. I got one, you got one and there was never a time we shared unfairly
But now we nolonger think of each other, frienship is nolonger shared
Hatred just scored
Disregard has to a higher level soared.
Our memories never spared, they are gone.
Is it distance? Or you got all you wanted and employ it for excuses
To leave me feel useless
Leaving my yearning for a friend lifeless
Is it that times change or it's people that undergo change?
What now? This world is so strange.
I'm the only one lamenting a lost friendship
Remember our love? Or was yours just a gate pass pretence,
Do atleast remember mine.
You had a pal, an ally in me
The days when we were so fine
We shared stories, enjoyed them like wine
Again? We sensed no movement of time
Old friend, am your new friend , same person
We can still meet, talk and drink then share life lessons
From each of our experience whilst we were apart
When we thought our hearts were afar and could never ever gravitate towards one another
