outside my window a sparrow is calling
from a distance there's an owl hooting like it always does
the autumn sun has shone it's impeccable rays on the riverine vegetation of Olkeriai
and the morning thrush impatiently sings with it's varying stolen tunes
the clock shows 6:20 on a Sunday morning
today was my cousin's wedding day
but I already sent an apology
because they sure will miss me there
I wanna check on the hoopoes,,the last time I went near the cliff
a verreaux eagle was visible feeding on a hyrax
it might not be the best of mornings
but it's my ideal birding day
