I can hear the birds sing
A sign that it's morning
Each chirping in turn
Without any concern
They wake at daylight
Soon they take flight
In search of food
In the morning dew
They return to the nest
Come back from their quest
Babies wait patiently
Receiving so happily
The chick's grow strong
Then leave before long
To find themselves a mate
So then they can duplicate
