By Simeon Austin David Pangu
Black, a color so bold
A shade that tells a story untold
Of struggles and triumphs, of joy and pain
A history that can't be feigned
A symbol of the Pan-African soul
A hue that makes one whole
Black, a color to be proud
A force that speaks aloud
So let this poem be a tribute
To the blackness that cannot be subdued
For it is a beauty that cannot be denied
A power that will forever reside.
Black!
