BLACK

Black,
it in your eyes
in your soul,
in the pit tunnel of those holes,
I perceive it,
like the smell of thick clay,
in your breath,
in your tones,
I see it in your acts
Black,
it in your bones
your hormones,
and no part of you can be sold, cleansed nor erased,
from the dark shades of your soul,
Black,
you are black
you can't thrust it away,
like a scarf,
you are covered in black,
up to your scarp,
Black,
you are black
location can't bridge the gap,
and time can't reverse this lap
Black,
you are black
though powdered,
your heart remains dark.
