Black and gold the colours of my life
At times I am very bright
Other times I'm of a rather dimmer light
Sometimes I am both
Black and gold
I can shimmer with glitter
Or I could be dull and bitter
Then again at the same time both
Black and gold
I can make a statement and be bold
I can also be boring, heartless and cold
You could compare me to a shining star 🌟
Or a dark, coal infused soap bar
Like I've said before I can be both
Black and gold
I can be as dark and black as the night
The same way I can be a bar of gold, shining extremely bright
For sure I can be and I am both
