I come from a black community,
A place where blacks discriminate against each other
Where they care whether you are light skinned black
Or dark skinned black,
Where light blacks get most of the advantages,
And dark blacks get most of the disadvantages.
I come from a black community,
A place where light blacks are considered beautiful
And dark skinned ugly,
Because it is said they are too dark.
I come from a black community,
where darker girls are mostly mocked,
Because of being darker.
I come from a community,
Where darker girls,
Mostly hate their skin
And have low self-esteem.
I come from a community,
That makes darker girls feel bad about themselves,
I say that cause am also a darker girl.
A darker girl who has a question:
What is the difference between dark-black and light-black ,aren't they all blacks at the end of the day.
