Black Skin ( personal )

My black skin:
My black skin reminds others of the past,
How things didn't last
And how people where treated like creatures
While lighter skin colour would lead to better futures cause it was said they have beautiful features they could lead any race to bigger heights they better leaders.
My black skin
Is taken as danger, I could get shot first
Then asked later what intentions I had
That's if I'm lucky
That's if I'm alive that's if those seven bullets missed my heart and spine,
When I see that blue uniform
I run for my life even in my innocence
I'm always found guilty, the system was built for white to be privileged and black to barely survive.
My black skin
Has a rare history of pains and suffering
It was always oppressed by other people
We had to find remorse within our own people, face the world alone and fight to be seen as equals but just like heavy storms blow over buildings our efforts kept crumbling our infrastructure in this case our ancestry leaders only doing so much until the law found reasons to shut all efforts down and made them kneel on the ground like a slave to his master would do all the time.
My black beautiful skin:
I love and I am proud I was created
I wasn't made to hardly make it in life
To see the age 25 as an achievement cause I stayed alive
Because half of my generation get killed
Daily, for simply wearing a hoodie you dangerous to different races, while my mom told me I'm a blessing up to now mom age 28 I still see the world treating black different how am I a blessing?
When my beautiful black skin is still seen differently and poured with paraffin and set lit cause someone assumed I'm a rapist while the racist race walks Scot free for murdering my brothers and sisters without reason it's still overlooked it's hardly seen, but it's alright we will not stop we will brake through these tough times.
