See, I never understood why black man bash a black woman,
What's the point, where's the difference other than beauty to ignorance,
Ignorance is bliss, so get to know her before running off at the lips,
We tear each other apart, our kids needs fathers,
Yet we tear a good mother down,
I never understood how we fear this cruel world but cut the bridges with our women,
The ones who's ready to be your joy and pride,
Be your roses, your bride,
Yet we want a maid instead of a wife,
Its black history, yet they still stand 10 toes down as if their soul wasn't suffering,
Mama taught me that a strong black woman can conquer most things,
But their light can't burn too bright full of a world full of darkness,
What happened to black love for the young girls and boys,
Yet as we bash the women who's willing to learn to love you for you,
Its crazy how so many black man can love another race, but in that process degrade his own kind,
How do you sleep at night, how does your soul and spirit even vibe right,
I guess that's today's world, and its frightening,
Love em while you can before their backs becomes our walls,
Because without their heart and soul, every man shall fall.
