blame the streets

As we scream to the streets
Another lost
As we mourn
With R.I.P shirts
Flood the funeral home with people
Thousand ppl at your casket
Screaming to the casket
Family torn apart
Rapture
Of the streets reaper
Capture
Another
Soul to the life
Consume by guns
Drugs
Red or blue rags
Nobody console the mother of the child
That she prayed every day
That the streets
Wouldn't take her son or daughter
She had so many dreams
That the mother couldn't sleep at night
That drove that mother so crazy
That she couldn't bear to see it
Happen
So that very moment a mother loses
Her son or daughter
Don't blame the mother or the family
Blame the street for the life
Blame lack of funds
In the neighborhood
So selling dope is only the way
So freedom comes with financial death
Blame the streets for lost of life
Blame the streets for lack of role models
For a screaming black family
Black the lack of positive things that gives our kids a better life
Blame the lack of jobs
That our community have
Just don't blame the mother or the family
They already beared enough
