I'm drawing blanks
I'm drawing circles
I'm drawing up the ins and outs of my life
I'm wrapping up a chapter
I'm deciding
the first sentences of the new one
how should it write?
deeply she breathed
and slowly she exhaled
or
in this moment she is alive
perhaps a phrase like
with one motion
she opened the door to her freedom
or just maybe it will begin
like this
with tears
and lips quivering
or
in this moment she lost all will
perhaps a phrase like
and plagued with torment will she ever be
every option
every scenario
without stability
without truth or understanding
I will sit and I will wait
for knowing my fate
will not be easy
but nothing that is
worth it
ever is.
