Today I talked to a brother
Told me about his father
I could tell he was proud
He didn't say it out loud
But I saw a tear in his eye
It hurts to say goodbye
I remembered my dad
And the respect I had
But I don't speak often
It reminds me of pain
The fact that he's gone

Memories are all I have

To see him once more
