I didn't quite understand what they ment.
But then one day I met you.
And I finally understood what that ment.
I didn't know that you could love me so endlessly
Or that I could love you back so effortlessly
And I didn't know that I'd crash so hard for you
Or that you'd catch me in your arms right befor I'd fall.
I know I'm not perfect , I don't try to be
Im hardheaded and stubborn , this you don't have to tell me.
I yell and I complain , and say things I never mean.
I don't make it easy for you to love me
Yet you do it anyway , so perfectly .
They said true love comes blindly , I didn't understand what that ment .
Then God gave me you , and ever since I've cherished my gift .
Falling for you , has been my greatest fear.
But you swept me off my feet , like we lived in a fairytale.
And everyday that I spend with you , every hour , every minute
You give me every reason to fall harder for you.
As long as you have me as your lover or friend , I'll always have you , through thick and thin
They said true love blinds you
Oh How true that statement was
Because on the day we met
I blindly fell for you
Unaware of how blind I really was , to what I thought was true love
Till the day I met you , you showed me what love truly was.
I was blindly in love , when your love made me see
That the love I thought I was getting , wasn't at all the love I was receiving.
You opened my eyes , for that I can't thank you enough , for giving me the love , I never thought I was worthy of.
Yes love comes blindly , and I was blindly in love , till you showed up and I blindly fell in love .
