Blissful ...

You've built your tower, children
Is It's great hight not enough?
When you reached past the Stars
And dug your hands into heaven itself
Did you once stop to think about looking back?
Is there anyone who thought,
"Just what are the repercussions?"
But sense you started your reach
It had already begun.
Your answers eludes you
Desires blinded on your way past the sun.
And the cavemen and bottom feeders
Are told nothing
But to be in awe
While they have no where else to look
But to look up to what you've done.
And all of history shouts in triumph
While the relics of the past turn to stone.
And the children want more because
"True Knowledge is never enough"...
Not until they reach an answer
To give credence to a bluff.
While one little tree,
Waiting at the start and at the finish,
Begets a simple answer
To one of Life's greatest questions:
"Who told you you were naked?"
my friend...
What sacrifice would you make to have knowledge unlimited?...
What sacrifice would you make to be able to forget?
Staring at a blank Page again...
