Black lives matter Isn't shouted just to exclude everybody
Black lives matter is shouted because we are the centerpiece
Centerpiece of broken truth and the center of bigoted views
We've been overshadowed longer than me or you
So who are you to tell me.....who I should be loyal to
We've been lynched and beat all within public view
And now I'm supposed to turn a blind eye just because you tell me to
Nah bro..... I'm a black man and I will always be
Its just sad that my color is all you see
Some may say oh well that was the past
It has nothing to do with me
But that's where you wrong.....cause your silence speaks
If more of you spoke up.....maybe there be less brutality

Meanwhile were being murdered and hung from trees
Only for you to turn away.....and oh well at least it ain't me
But you quick to holler about inclusion and racial equality
Yet all you see the color and not the man underneath
