Here's a story about a little old guy
Who spent his days booting up and getting high.
Looked down at by everyone who met his attendance
Now listen to this I'll spell it out sentence by sentence
Sitting under Curras Bridge whacked out of his head
Getting laughed at by the kids cause he ain't got a bed.
But in my eyes his strong cause he found a way to survive.
So I shout him a bong and he helps me realise.
That life can be what you make.
As we skip stones across curras lake.
And for fuck sake
why am I so baked
You think you've had it hard and you think you had it tough.
As you flick through your credit cards you ain't had rough.
You ain't never been in cuffs for being yourself
Never gotten a root off of the whore shelf.
Now here's a valued lesson in life.
To be a good person you don't have to prey to a Christ.
But coming from hindsight
He may fight for life.
Look through societies lies
of what's wrong and what's right.
Did I say old? He's only 27
Bustin down hells door trying to get heaven.
Then I see a kid age 11
World at he's feet better watch where he's steppin
Or he'll crush this world that lay before him.
And end up like this man who was ignoring.
The book of lessons he was told.
When he was this kids age he thought he was bold
No this dosent make him scum.
He just made bad choices after he lost his mum.
But to most he's just a junkie.
A bad brass monkey.
Smack takes all his money.
But ain't it funny.
That I'd rather talk to him the bill gates himself.
Home invasion now he's acting stealth.
Noone will help.
Look within yourself.
To not judge noone.
They may be just as strong
as anyone.
