'Breaded Poetry'

The bread that Moses gave did not come from heaven.
Only Jesus was the perfect sacrifice, he had no leaven.
He fed the multitude with 5 loaves & two fishes.
If in faith, he began a work in you, he too will finish.
None of this was done to flex for a crown that was visible.
No game of checkers, not a king to be decked or bound in the physical.
Sometimes you got to shy away from props & hide behind the mountains.
Can't always bring attention to good work because there's always a good jerk around to drown it.
When the breeze hits the fan, fear can tip & flip the boat.
If you was on a canoe, & Jesus walked on water towards you, would you get hit with a stroke?
Brings a whole new meaning to the "spook who sat by the door".
Some people grow a steel vault for a heart, can't knock on that anymore.
Feed a homeless person once & that person will be on the look out for you.
Jesus said "The poor will always be around, but not me!", you value time on the clock or the dime in my pocket? Receive what got took out for you.
"Labour not for the meat that perishes", says the Lord.
But if a man don't work, that man won't eat, Catch-22 in rare form.
You can go on a live hunt or you can purchase processed meat, either way shotguns will get the blastin'.
Because the meat that Jesus suggests for us, endures eternally, unto life everlasting.
Yea this poet here is signed, sealed & delivered but you won't find me in Wegmans or Wholefoods.
Nearly everything humans eat, drink & consume is bad for their health, including soybeans & tofu.
Folk was asking Jesus, "How can we work the works Of God?', Jesus replied "By believing on who God sent".
So in essence, believing is a work around the clock, even when you're jobless.
You got the Dupont's, the Rothschilds' & the Rockefellers', trillionaires still looking to get a life, yet I won't envy or fret despite.
Instead I write, they might got more bread than me, but I got the Bread Of Life.
