Am tired of living life by a page from your handbook each day,
Of saying words that don't match what I want to convey.
No more dancing to the music on your playlist so mundane,
It's time for me to break free, let my spirit be untamed.
I won't be bound by rules and regulations so tight,
I won't be just another cog in the machine's sight.
I want to live my life with passion and with zest,
And let my voice be heard, above the noise of life's unrest.
I'll forge my own path, with determination in my heart,
I'll find my own rhythm, and never have to play a part.
I won't be confined by what others think I should do,
I'll live my life the way I want, and make it all come true.
So here I stand, with courage in my soul,
Ready to break free, and reach my goal.
I won't be held back, by the weight of conformity,
I'll live my life with joy and peace, in complete serenity.
So here's to life, a journey all my own,
With choices I make, and adventures yet unknown.
I won't be held back, by the ties that bind,
I'll break free and live my life, with an open mind.
