In the quiet whispers of the passing year,
Life's journey we've trod, often with fear.
Through trials and storms, in grace we've thrived,
Guided by faith, in Him we've derived.
Not better or more deserving than the rest,
Yet here we stand, by blessings blessed.
Not in the grave, nor hospital's care,
But under His grace, in the open air.
Millions paid for what freely we respire,
Oxygen, life's thread, without a price or hire.
A privilege bestowed, not an entitled claim,
A gift we cherish, in gratitude's flame.
For in the midst of chaos, God's shield unfurled,
He carried us forth, through an uncertain world.
We're not owed, yet abundantly received,
His mercy bestowed, our souls relieved.
So, let our thanks be a symphony's rise,
For life and breath, beneath boundless skies.
Grateful hearts sing, in unison's tether,
Thank You, Jesus, for life's precious feather.
