As I force myself to breath
the fiery prickles of loneliness chokes me
as I cry
my tears turn to ice to mock the coldness of my sad withered heart
as I laugh
the sound twists and reminds me that i laugh all alone
as i smile
my teeth feel rotten and i must hide them once more
as I walk
I'm reminded of the weight I carry on my shoulders
as I sit
I am reminded that I need to lose weight
as I exercise
I feel I have let down my fight for body positivity
as I draw I am one upped by my friends
as I sing I am reminded that I will never sound as good as him
as I hope
I hope he will come back but he doesnt
I cry for one more night with him
the nights filled with laughter soon ended with silence
He was always there
he meant so much to me
but then our love ended
I never saw him again
all I wanted was for him to be happy but not like this
no not like this
i wanted to hold him
but his beauty pricked me like the thorns of his favorite rose
i drowned in my tears for him
and suffocated in my silent sobs
maybe his is happier with him
because he took a chunk of my heart
and sadly I would still be willing to give him another
