I can't recall the stars that shone that night,
But I remember their bright and twinkling light,
For all my attention was drawn to you,
And my heart was filled with love anew.
The sky was vast, and the world was still,
But my heart was beating, a love it couldn't kill,
As we stood there, hand in hand,
In the beauty of that enchanted land.
I gazed into your eyes, so full of love,
As the stars above us danced and moved,
Their light shining down upon our bliss,
A moment so perfect, I could not miss.
I can't remember the names of those stars,
But in my heart, they will always be ours,
For they were shining so bright that night,
When I fell in love with you, my heart's delight.
So let the stars fade into the past,
For our love will forever last,
And as we stand beneath the sky so high,
Our love will shine bright, like those stars in the sky.
