Her heart was broken into small fractured pieces of hate.
For all the lies she told herself, this was her fate.
Small lies became big ones,
Her truth had come undone.
Right in front of her own two eyes,
there grew another lie,
The tension was big enough to tear someone apart.
What tore apart, was her horrified scarred heart.
Leaving him is what she should have done.
Now a war between two hearts is what had begun.
Who will hurt each other more,
A pierce through the heart, just like before.
Lying beside one another in a cold, cold bed.
Remembering all that has been said.
The two still share a house together,
Nobody wants to leave, this was supposed to be forever.
Now packing up their belongings one at a time.
Throwing away the memories, leaving each one behind.
How are two people supposed to be okay.
When.they still have so much to say.
