Broken and Sad

I am sorry I attached myself too much to you.
Little did I know, like others, you'll leave me too!
You said, you'll be with me always,
I didn't realise it was a lie and we'll have to part our ways.
I trusted you with my whole heart,
But you took it as a target for your dart!
I am broken and sad, I can't even explain,
I know we must move on, catch the next train.
I feel empty within, no one to talk to, no one to console me.
And so I know I'm all alone, pretending to be happy, laugh and smile with glee.
I hate this feeling of being lonely and sad,
I am sorry for everything, please don't be mad.
I can't make things right between us,
You might have moved on hopped on the next bus.
