Dreaming of a wonderful life.
Staying alone in my kingdom

One day came a girl.
Eyes filled with promise
Of the life I dreamt.
So, I let her stay in my castle

I gave her all my time.

One day she said goodbye.
Suddenly,
The castle began to shake.
She left, left a crack

Storms and floods came,
Nowhere to hide.
Then I thought of
Checking out the crack she left
Deep inside, where no one could see;
Except… ME
Through the crack, came light
And I saw,
The crack was a road
To a room of treasure
So deep inside, that no one could see…
Not even me
Years passed by, another girl came
With the same promise filled eyes.
Afraid of being broken again,
I didn't let her in.
'cuz the crack still hurts
Deep inside, where no one could see;
Except… ME
