In the midst of the hot sun scorching above.
Masked in a bitter smile from the loss of our love.
Staring at the perfect picture she painted with her. flaws.
Perfect canvas I thought, damn!! I fell for her floss.
An image of lost hope, can't hold on for long.
She turned my room into oceans.
And sat down to watch me wrecked by my emotions
I swear I fought but am doomed, am succumbing to my sorrows.
With struggling spirits am drowning in deep waters, which I thought to be shallow.
Stupid me, crumbling down from a fake gloss.
I toss on my bed whole night long.
Drowning in my tears with no shoulder to lean on.
Confused, all my hope lost, tell me where did I go wrong?
She lead me into the battle field, and then left me to fight alone.
Turning a deaf ear to my pleas, OMG!! I can't take it anymore.
Now I lay in awe in my now empty bed.
The place we used to get lost in ecstasy.
The place I used to get high with her euphoric company.
The place we promised love with the most intimate feeling.
I know I'ma miss her, but I'll just hold on to the memories.
