The pots are empty,
The water tanks are draining,
The roof is leaking,
The pipes are seeping.
Mom on the streets hustling.
Dad on the streets flirting.
Children on the streets hungry.
Pets on the streets dying.
Things happening all at once,
Tried to gather the pieces and peace,
But it only made them realize,
Sticks and stones can't fix a broken home.
