What makes a community a community and a home a home?
Is it the parks or the buildings that set the tone?
Is it the birds, the cats or that little fat dog?
It is the people within, freinds, aqauintances that guide you through the fog.
The old man in the morning seven on the dot, buying his daily newspaper,
Kids of all ages going to school or planning there next big caper,
The dogs and there owners of all breeds and sizes,
It is the people we see every day even the local gossip everybody despises.
The unemployed, the drug users, mothers young and old,
Loved ones, aquintances watch our community unfold,
Young, old, able-bodied or disabled range from different ages and races,
People we see everyday or every week, familar faces.
People just passing through or the same faces same time every day,
The workers of all skills work there fingers to the Bone for that one day to spend there pay,
Many things build a community but it's the people within that give it heart,
Poor or rich, cheerful or grumpy it's our home we make by all playing our heart.
