BULLIED

Where is I that you seek,
Whom you’ve bullied for weeks?
Is it because I was weak,
Or maybe because I wouldn’t speak?
So you threw your punches at my cheeks.
Is it because I was smart or just a geek?
Or because my lifestyle wasn’t unique?
Or how I dress, walk, or display my antiques?
Blaspheming became your only technique;
You terrorized my life and called me a freak.
Was my attitude toward you not meek?
What of my kindness? Wasn’t it at its peak?
Or wasn’t it high enough: silent and bleak?
Are you happy now that I’m not around,
That you’ve silenced me from making a sound?
Happy now that I’m six feet underground,
While my flesh rots and sinks deep down?
Are you pleased with the hatred you’ve shown me,
Knowing I’ve paid the death fee
For the burden you’ve bestowed upon me?
Have your actions brightened your day,
Knowing that you've finally killed your prey?
