it feels like someone is stepping
on my heart, and
my soul burns
like its never ending,
i got a burden on my heart
lost my grams
when i was 21
laying up in the hospital bed
everybody around
but me
having car problems
and the pain is deep
people in my ear saying i have responsibilities and i
ignored the pain
and reminisce about everything
false promises
missed calls
i got a burden on my heart as
times fades away
like a book with no color
so i sit here as the pages fall apart
only thing i have is a smile
to ease the pain.
