she told herself to never get burned
he was no longer her concern
she learned real quick he never burns
its him the one that never learned
he just figured oh she'll never catch on
he never thought he'd be the one to be tough
it was always them he led on
she found out really quick that he was a dick
though about it until it made her sick
he always tried to find out what makes them tic
he believed that she wasn't a bright chick
she let him think he found what makes her tic
now he thinks he knows all her high and her low
he'll never get to see just how far she goes
he's to busy trying to step on her toes
she already knows what she knows
he always tried to go with the flow
she learned she has to stay on her toes
she's learning it's okay to be different
she knows she was born to stand out
at this moment she couldn't be more stout
that she know's without a doubt
