I know at times you get fed up with me and you say things that hurt,
The fact that everyone leaves me at some point my life is a curse.
As you walked away from me tears swell and fill my eyes and I cry,
BUT, I LOVE YOU and you can't hear me no matter how hard I try.
When you're mad at me you say that you hate me and regret it all,
When you shut the door I whisper, BUT, I LOVE YOU, please come back and stay a while.
When we are alone with no one to interfer we are good and our love shows so true,
I only wish I could have done things different and showed you I LOVE YOU.
If our lives was in reverse I'd never be able to throw you away,
I could never make you leave or make you feel like I didn't want you to stay.
I gave you every bit of me down to my heart and soul,
But the more I let you in the colder you would grow.
I'm so very sorry that I couldn't be everything you wanted or needed me to be,
Even if you do hate me only love for you is all I'll ever see.
