Sometimes when I tell people I write poetry, they tell me I'm boring
But anyone who can't see the beauty in everything is the real person who's boring
Being a poet is more than just writing words for hours
It's about telling people the world and all they are too ignorant to see
Being a poet is about feeling emotions on new levels,
Emotions non-poets can't describe
But poets always know the right words to describe them
Being a poet is more than just ink and books
It's about romance, love and beauty in words
And being able to write about beauty is one of the least boring things I know
But what do the non-poets do?
The remorse I feel, for those who die without humanity
It's always such a pity.
