Heywood claimed much water passed,
Where any millhouse stood,
Which never turned the wheels of stone,
Nor touched the wheel of wood.
Of Lovers here, it's just as true,
And seldom do we know,
Their greater depths, and dreams which
Lie there buried far below.
When Hearts are worn upon the sleeve,
Our task is simple here,
Though often, Lovers must be coaxed
The make their needs known clear,
And so we then must take the time, to
Learn all that we may;
We listen close, and candid speak,
Lest Lover's fly away.
