when the devil
attacks your heart
with the spirit of men
that he knows you care for

anything to protect
but there spirit
wasn't meant for him
nor to be with you
so he uses your voice
with your endless love
to start a dream up
about who they are
why you won't give up
on who they are as people
that you have seen of
but your heart don't
want to believe the penalty
of who they could be as men
