We scored it so high in the examinations,
We made it to the better place of our dreams,
Made our mothers proud,
We became our younger sister's role models,
But what is this really we've eventually come to be?
We passed highly now we get so high,
Our naris have given hand to the plume,
The injections we were afraid of at childhood,
Today is what we live by,is this what they call adulthood?
The chubs are getting envious of our being,
We crave for the waters more than the sharks do,
We're such a rotten generation.
We live a free life,
We're more than triffids,
The mirror reflecting the future cracked,
We neither live in the past nor do we portray the future,
We take no beef,
We call ourselves vegetarians,
Hemp we treat with such veneration,
We sing it loud in the clubs,
That we're the chosen generation,
And dance _kanungo_ in the praise of the most high,
This is the kinda life we live,
What a legacy will we leave?
The innocent souls are maimed in campuses,
The decent lips dipped deep into the deathful pits,
My dress my choice is all we say,
Covering a fifth of our bodies,
We lack the respect to our future.
What a legacy will we leave?
