CAN SHE FIND ONE?

Once upon a time there used to be a woman.
A dark skinned woman.
An Indian woman.
She doesn't want to be called weak.
Nor does she want to think a hundred times,
Just to wear the dress she likes.
She want to go out when she wishes to.
She want to go out alone if she want to.

She doesn't want people to say,
"Oh! You have such a nice facial features.
But how pathetic! Your skin is dark".
She doesn't want people to say,
"Don't go out under the sun or your skin will be darker."

She doesn't want people to say,
"learn how to cook. Or the boys won't like you.".
She doesn't want people to say,
"Don't laugh, just smile."
She doesn't want people to say,
"Don't be so tall, or it'll be hard to find you a bridegroom."

So she thought,
"Do I want to be a man?"
But she told herself,
"No I don't."
"I just want to find a society,
in which women and men are treated equally."
Can she find one?
