Can we go through life together?
After every altercation we have, I ask myself this question, why do we do it, why do we remain; together? I don't know why those words come out of my mouth, or that thought to my mind each time. Because in my heart, I know why we're here. And I know what we do, this for. But honestly, my love, I still ask.
We have definitely had our share of ups and downs. And as of late it appears, that we just don't see eye to eye anymore. But that doesn't bother me, I know that we still have a chance. I know that where there's a will, there's a way. And I know that as much as we disagree, I still love you. And I trust that somewhere inside of you, you still love me too.
Can we go through life together? Can we give ourselves another chance and another chance after that, if need be. Can we just begin again and let the chips of Love that have fallen and been destroyed, be rebuilt and replaced? We can't be afraid to be strong in the face of weakness. We, are meant to be, together. If we were not, this love affair of ours, would have subsided long ago.
Our best days are still to come. Don't give up on what can only be held together by the strongest glue on earth. The kind of gorilla glue that is only apparent, in love. I will advocate for this bond until my last breath, just please let me know. Can we go through life together?
