Walks without you are dead

You left a mark on me deep
Your love was unconditional
How can I cope by myself
To see you would be a miracle
Your floppy ears , so adorable
They perked up when I spoke
You tried your best to understand
You never did laugh at my jokes
I would give anything to see you
To cuddle up beside you again
And to hear your so soft sighs
