Dreaming our dreams in a fantasy it seems
in a world of imagination.
To all his own and his own to all
in a grown man's incantation.
In a sense of happiness and self betterment,
we strive for perfection daily.
We try and fall and we try again
until we succeed and that comes rarely.
But in the face of reality we stand tall
scared of the consequences.
Afraid we may be but brave we fall
ignoring the coincidences.
But remember that we're only human
we will always make mistakes.
But be strong in thought and be decisive in action,
and go out and grab your own fate.
Because it's your life and you only have one,
don't waste it on broken promises and dreams.
Pick up the pieces and take the chances.
Be wise in life it's gone so quick it seems.
