Twas the dark cold night
The castle was empty,
Without it's very knight
I hear a tap as I have my tea
Beneath the staircase, past the grave
I whispered is anyone there
I heard a screeching reply down the frame
I am he who died without any fear
From the distance, I hear a distant rumble
It's raining said the voice without any care
Can I see you said I, as the thunder double
Swift came a reply, this I wouldn't dare
The light flickered, my fear lingered
Why are you there, when you could be here
No more no less, my chains would not tear
As the light as flashes like a light from a guard
Towards the voice, a wonder I behold
Like a water in the rain, let the story unfold
As I stare towards the voice, a bird is all I could discern
Let's us sleep he said, my grave is beneath yours
