CATTELINA'S ORCHID

CATTELINA'S ORCHID

The (Spiritual eclipse)

The gateways are closed for me

At night, a veil of stars, watching.

My shadow is born from light.

The light of the eye, in darkness.

In the name of desperation!

I call your name, in lamentation

I sigh, again and again.

~

I lament this memory

cannot bid  farewell!

At night I always dream of you

The seed that has sprung

into a florid meadow,

& left me helpless in your embrace.

~

She was laughing

and weeping at once:

The idea is taking me away

My candlelight snuffed,

the bleak icon smiled.

Emptiness followed by her wake.

~

(I could clasp her undying love

within a ghostlike rapture)

~

She holds her head

up high in the rain.

Like the secret face

within the tapestry.

Like a bird of prey

over the crest,

she swathed me in sorrow,

as if I were born within a mask.

(But the souls of the fullmoon

await their shadows ablaze)

~

The sky has fallen

And I bare it's weight

These walls harbor a strange uniquity,

a darkness which never sleeps.

Sewing seeds of doubt within

~

Looming clouds prevail,

concealing the sun,

weaving a tapestry of guile

I've tried to keep adrift

on a sea of confusion.

Drank of the rivers and vale.

~

I commit this body to the ground.

Let soil wash over crossed arms,

a vessel to the grave,

resting in lament.

Pull me up through the earth,

peering through the sky,

wildfires have become

alive in me

Cannot turn me to stone

~

I can still see

the face you buried.

Held in sleep, I fall alone.

While leaves fall from

the weeping trees.

I am so alone, so cold.

~

Touching her flesh

in this night.

My blood froze forever

Embraced before the dawn,

a kiss brought total eclipse

And she spoke once and forever

In the mist, enrobed

in the twilight

She was standing...

~

The Arrival...

I saw her shadow (standing)

in the darkness

Awaiting me like the night

Awaits the day

Standing silent smiling

at my presence

A black candle holds

the only light

Darkness encloses

and the candle seem to expire

In her cold, cold hand

And as a forlorn soul

It will fade away

~

Like a morning in magenta,

the petals fed from the dew.

She held her breath

for a moment,

to pause off the stream.

Still clinging to the vast,

old memories.

(Plunging towards

bereavement faster)

~

This coffin is

beautifully engraved.

Stained by soil,

symbols of death.

All of which are stared upon,

with porcelain eyes it seems.

~

 In death entwined,

I could not believe.

But it hangs around my neck.

A soft breeze passed me by,

somewhat warmer for a second.

I knew it was the

coming of spring, thus

our April Ethereal.

~

The day came to an end.

And she had lost in me,

her credence.

Gasping for another breath.

She rose, screaming

at closed doors.

Seductive faint mist forging

through the cracks in the wall.

~

Enduring yet another tale

You tempt me again

With your embrace, so tainted

Within the night you beckon

Cursing me with every glance

~

Embodied in faint vapour.

Wandering through April's fire.

Compelled to grasp and to hold

the one that was you.

~

She has been hiding

a wish in my heart

That flows through

my blood always

In tears for all of eternity.

She turned around and faced me

for the first time.

The emeralds glisten to

mark her presence

Set the enigma ablaze

I'm Searching...I'm Finding...

~

my love is enternal
